The Remote Auxiliary Control option for the RDM (Remote Direct Manual) module adds the ability to monitor and control auxiliary functions for the dock that are not directly related to evolution control.
The Automated Evolution Control module uses the information provided by the Attitude and Alarm Monitoring component, combined with the Multi-Axis Deflection Monitor, and controls the dock in a completely automated manner.
The Multi-Axis Deflection Monitor continuously measures multiple types of deflection (in the simplest form: both linear and transverse hog and sag) on a floating dry dock. Using small sensors mounted in the wing walls (usually indoors on the safety deck) this provides readings that can be accurate to 2.5 millimeters over a 100 meter dock or better.
The Historical Trending and Data Log (HDL) module provides the logging and "reporting" element for ADECS3. 
The Attitude and Alarm Monitoring (AAM) Module for a floating dock provides supervisory views of the dock including global list, trim, and deflection monitoring, combined with valve, pump, tank, and draft status in a flexible multi-panel layout. It also provides enhanced alarming, event data logging, and user security.
The Remote Direct Manual control (RDM) system for a floating dock provides manual control of the dock by operators in the control room.
