Historical Trending and Data Log
The Historical Trending and Data Log (HDL) module provides the logging and "reporting" element for ADECS3.
Instead of using pre-built reports with most of the data meaningless to the specific user, the HDL module provides the means to export historical data to a file in a very common (.csv) format that all spreadsheets and databases can accept. Since no reports are generated within ADECS3, this provides a means that users can create an unlimited number of types of reports.
The HDL module handles the historical logging and exporting of most of the continuous data generated by the ADECS3 system. From common standard general data like List and Trim, to more detailed tank-by-tank deflection, to specific data for each valve including commanded position, actual position, operating mode, etc. all data is recorded.
The HDL module normally records samples once pre minute and stores that data (in a non-proprietary format) for up to a year for standard retrieval. Data that is older than one year is automatically archived into a compressed file for storage indefinitely. An additional high resolution mode can be enabled that (once per second) continually stores data for retrieval up to two weeks later.
HDL data also extends to include event based items. As examples: when an automated evolution is begun, or an operator logs in or out, these specific event times are recorded.
Finally, the HDL Module also adds real-time trending into the ADECS3 AAM/AEC module. This allows the operator to select any tagged item and view a live trend for data up to 4 hours in the past.
