ADECS - Automated Dock Evolution Control Systems, Revision 3
The Automated Dock Evolution Control System, Revision 3 (ADECS3) is a combination of several base modules, which can be used together or as individual components to control a floating dry dock. Control capabilities range from enhanced monitoring to advanced manual control to fully automatic operation.
The full ADECS3 product is used to completely automate the evolution (ballasting and deballasting) of a floating dock. The complete system is designed for any dock that has more than six ballast tanks.
Without considering the full system, all floating docks can benefit from specific modules and depending on the desires of the dock operation team, the docks may want to use the fully automated system, or may just want to improve their ability to operate the dock manually.
